Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Petar Djokic said that 15 small hydropower plants (SHPP) are currently under construction in RS, while the preparations for the construction of wind, solar and biomass power plants are underway.
Minister Djokic stressed that the commissioning of newly built thermal power plant Stanari has proved that the Republic of Srpska is a good place for investment, which is also an excellent introduction for large energy projects included in the country’s Energy Development Strategy by 2030.
