According to the data from Romanian electricity market operator OPCOM, the number of green certificates traded in the period January-July 2016 on the Centralized Green Certificates Market was 2,281, which is 15.7 times lower than 35,875 units traded in the same period in 2015.
At the end of July, 880 participants were present on the Green Certificates Market. During that month, 71 selling and just one buying offer were submitted, while the number of traded green certificates stood at only one with the price of 29.7 euros.
