45 companies interested in HPP Vidraru rehabilitation – Romania, 15 September 2016

A total of 45 companies for seven different countries including Romania, Russia, China, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Macedonia are on the list of bidders at the auction organized by the Romanian electricity producer Hidroelectrica for the rehabilitation of its hydropower plant Vidraru.
The contract is estimated at 98.4 million euros. among the bidders, there are two large Chinese companies: Power Construction Corporation of China and Power Huadong Engineering Corporation. Russian company Siloviye Mashiny (Silmash) is also among the bidders for the rehabilitation contract.
