5 European gas companies suing Gazprom over gas prices – Region, 18 May 2016

Five European partners of Russian gas company Gazprom are seeking the revision of Gazprom’s gas prices in court. The companies involved in these lawsuits are Shell Energy Europe, Danish DONG Naturalgas, Polish PGNiG, Turkish BOTAS and Dutch GasTerra.
The hearing on the complaint filed by DONG Naturalgas is expected in October and November this year, while the verdict regarding the dispute with Polish PGNiG is expected in July 2017, while the prospects for initiating arbitration proceedings with Turkish BOTAS are currently uncertain.
