Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in April 2018 amounted to 670 GWh, which is 6.5 % more than in the same month in 2017, when the production amounted to 629 GWh.
Net electricity production amounted to 633 GWh, of which 428 GWh (67.6 %) was produced in hydropower plants, while the remaining 205 GWh (32.4 %) was produced in thermal power plants. In April, electricity imports amounted to just 32 GWh, compared to 705 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 354 GWh, which is 17 % more than in April 2017.
