Czech 2020 electricity production lowest in the last 18 years – Region, 22 February 2021

In 2020, production of electricity in the Czech Republic in 2020 was the lowest in the last 18 years.

The amount of produced electricity by Czech power plants was 6.4 % lower than in 2019 and the lowest since 2002.

On the other hand, overall electricity consumption dropped by 3.5 % to 71.4 TWh
