Daily electricity consumption reached new record on 17 August – Turkey, 18 August 2023

According to data published by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS), the daily electricity consumption in the country increased by 0.31 % on 17 August compared to the previous day, reaching a new record high of 1,132,567 MWh.

Hourly electricity consumption peaked at 54,130 MW
