EU Parliament endorsed electricity market design plan – Region, 21 July 2023

The EU Parliament’s committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) has endorsed an electricity market design (EMD) plan that includes provisions for separate remuneration mechanisms rewarding availability, flexibility and storage.

The report builds on the European Commission’s initial proposal
