Excavator at Kolubara mining basin back in operation after fire in January last year – Serbia, 24 February 2023

The large excavator used to deposit tailings at the Tamnava-Zapadno Polje open pit mine in the Kolubara basin has been put into operation.

The excavator was involved in a fire incident in mid-January 2022 and it was out of operation since.

That incident, along with issues with low quality coal
