Extra tax on gas-fired electricity generation to be abolished in 2024 – Greece, 12 September 2023

Greek Ministry of Energy is planning plans to abolish an extra tax that was imposed on natural gas used for electricity generation at the beginning of 2024, along with the termination of other measures implemented in the wholesale and electricity markets during the energy crisis.
