Government approved NPP Kozloduy expansion, effectively abandoning NPP Belene project – Bulgaria, 20 January 2021

Bulgarian Government approved a plan for the construction of additional unit at the existing nuclear power plant Kozloduy.

Previously, Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova said that the equipment bought for nuclear power plant Belene project will be used in the construction of a new unit 7 of NP
