Government postponed renewing concession agreement with OMV Petrom – Romania, 18 May 2023

The Romanian Government has postponed a decision on renewing the concession agreement with OMV Petrom for nine onshore gas perimeters for another 15 years.

The original concession agreement was signed in 1997 and covered a total of 18 exploration perimeters with an area of over 57,000 square kilo
