Nuclearelectrica expects lower profit in 2023 – Romania, 16 January 2023

Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica, the operator of the country’s sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, said that it is expects its net profit to fall by 38.5 % in 2023 to 316 million euros due to an energy solidarity tax introduced by the Government last year.
