Nuclearelectrica recorded 163 % higher net profit in 2022 – Romania, 24 February 2023

Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica, the operator of the country’s sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, recorded a net profit in the amount of 555 million euros in 2022, which is 163 % higher compared to the previous year, mostly driven by higher electricity prices.
