Slovenia postpones the closure of Trbovlje-Hrastnik coalmine until the end of 2023 – Slovenia, 16 December 2021

Slovenian Parliament has adopted a law for the extension of the deadline for the closure of Trbovlje-Hrastnik coalmine until the end of 2023. Initially, the coalmine was to be closed at 2022-end.

A total of 11.7 million euros will be invested in the complete shutdown of the mine, with 8.9 million
