Turkey commissioned 34 new hydropower plants – Turkey, 12 August 2022

Turkey’s State Hydraulic Works (DSI) commissioned 34 new hydropower plants at the ceremony attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to him, these 34 new HPPs will have an annual electricity generation of 2.3 TWh, adding that the cost of these new HPPs is around 860 million do
