Turkey expects record growth in solar power capacity in 2022 – Turkey, 19 October 2022

Director of Zorlu Solar Evren Evcit said that Turkey is expected to add a record 2.5 GW in solar power capacity this year, owing to the urgency of increasing domestic supply in the face of the energy crisis and the accelerated recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
