Turkey produced 82 % of its electricity from local resources on 19 May – Turkey, 20 May 2019

According to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey produced 82 % of its electricity from domestic and renewables resources on 19 May.

On 19 May, Turkey produced a total of 676.05 million kWh of electricity. Out of this amount, hydropower plants’ production was accounted for 53.74 %
