Slovenian gas company Adriaplin has completed the takeover of Slovenian gas company Mestni Plinovodi, which resulted in the creation of the largest gas distributor in Slovenia.
Adriaplin is headquartered in Ljubljana, it is owned by Italian energy company Eni and operates gas distribution system in 18 municipalities in Slovenia. It owns about 500 kilometers long gas distribution network, covering roughly 50 % of the country. It has about 13,500 customers and distributes some 80 million cubic meters of gas per year.
