AERS approved the electricity meters takeover plan – Serbia, 26 June 2017

At its session last week, the Council of Serbian Energy Regulatory Agency (AERS) adopted a decision on the approval of the plan for the takeover of electricity meters, measuring cabinets, connection lines, installations and equipment in the measuring cabinets and other device in the objects of existing customers, developed by the electricity distribution system operator EPS Distribucija.
The Energy Law prescribes that all these devices should be owned by the electricity distribution system operator by the end of 2020 at the latest. EPS Distribucija will notify AERS and the Ministry of Energy and Mining on the takeover progress twice a year.
