European Union’s Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) and Slovak natural gas transmission system operator Eustream have signed an agreement on providing grant for the feasibility study for the planned Eastring gas pipeline project.
Eustream said in the statement that the feasibility study will be funded under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) with the sum up to one million euros, or 50 % of the eligible costs. European CEF coordination committee agreed to fund the feasibility study for the Eastring gas pipeline under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) on 17 February 2017. The grant application was submitted with support from transmission system operators from Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria (FGSZ, Transgaz and Bulgartransgaz).
