The Ministers of Energy of Serbia and Republic of Srpska (RS), Aleksandar Antic and Petar Djokic reached an agreement that the Serbian Government will consider the proposal of the agreement between the two gas companies – Srbijagas and Gas Promet, which will regulate the issue of property of Srbijagas in the Republic of Srpska.
According to Minister Djokic it was also agreed to initiate the meeting of energy regulators of Serbia and RS which should define the fees for gas flows in the pipeline connecting the two countries and thus avoid the current situation where some gas operators have to pay double fees. He said that RS is willing to work on the development of its gas market with full support of the Serbian Government and participation of Srbijagas, which is the best way to intensify the activities on the gasification of RS.
