Annual electricity theft higher than generation of TPP Kostolac B – Serbia, 8 June 2016

According to the last report of EPS’ Directorate for electricity losses reduction, the households and companies in Serbia have illegally consumed 5.4 million kWh of electricity in April, thus damaging the state-owned power utility EPS by some 630,000 euros.
Households unauthorizedly consumed 1.5 million kWh of electricity in April worth some 175,000 euros, while some 450,000 euros was invoiced to companies for 3.9 million kWh of stolen electricity.
