Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said that there is a clear vision in the region that the Balkan gas hub project could be carried through, adding that several neighboring countries, such as Serbia, have shown huge interest in the project.
PM Borisov explained that Bulgaria could transit as much as 15 billion cubic meters of gas per year through the Balkan gas hub and added that Russian natural gas could be transported via Bulgaria as well, although Russia has shown lack of interest in the project.
