Mehmet Islamoglu, General Manager of Istanbul-based electricity distribution company BEDAS, has been replaced by Murat Yigit, former head of another regional electricity distribution company – AEDAS due to a series of electricity outages in the Istanbul area.
According to the statement from CLK Holding, owner of the both electricity distribution companies, Islamoglu will now act as a distribution coordinator for both BEDAS and AEDAS, while Camlibel, another distribution company owned by CLK, will temporarily take over the management of AEDAS.
