Biomass power plant to be built in Veliko Gradiste – Serbia, 14 August 2017

According to the detailed regulation plan of the municipality of Veliko Gradiste, the construction of biomass power plant with installed capacity of 999 kW, that will deliver electricity to the national grid, is planned. The investor of this project is local company D&D Energy.
Electricity will be produced by combusting biogas obtained from biomass using anaerobic digestion process. In addition to electricity, new plant will produce heat as well as organic fertilizer. The initial raw material will be agricultural biomass, originating from several local sources.
