CEO of Turkish-German joint venture Borusan EnBW Energy, Mehmet Acarla said that it is planning to invest 500 million dollars in the next three to four years after winning 396 MW of wind energy pre-license capacity during the tenders organized in December.
Acarla said that that with the additional pre-licenses that the company won, its renewable energy portfolio has now reached 1,200 MW in total, adding that the company is planning to build additional 10 plants in various regions in Turkey including Edirne, Tekirdag, Sivas, Hatay, Karaman-Mersin, Afyon, Manisa and Malatya, with total installed capacity of 396 MW.
