Representatives of Bulgarian state-owned gas company Bulgargaz stated that the company will lose 17.4 million euros if the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (KEVR) confirms the decision of its working group on the increase in price of natural gas as of 1 January 2017.
In early December, Bulgargaz demanded an increase of 13.53 % in the price of natural gas for the first quarter of 2017, but KEVR did not acknowledge the company’s estimate and proposed that the price of natural gas in the first quarter should be increased by just 5 %.
