Romanian energy producer CET Govora, which is currently under insolvency, has signed a contract worth 360 million euros with Polish group Ciech Soda.
According to the contract, which is valid for the next ten years, CET Govora will provide industrial steam for Ciech Soda’s ash factory in Govora, which will allow both companies to continue with their operation. The signed contract covers operating costs of CET Govora and thus guarantees that the company will have no financial problems in providing heat and hot water for several cities it supplies: Ramnicu Valcea, Baile Olanesti and Calimanesti-Caciulata.
