Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Gordan Milinic said after the meeting with representatives of Chinese TEPC Overseas Engineering Company that the company is prepared to sign an agreement with local company Lager for the construction of thermal power plant Kamengrad near Sanski Most, a project worth over 500 million euros.
The agreement on the construction of TPP Kamengrad, which will have two units with power output of 215 MW each, will be signed in November, on the sidelines of the China-Central Eastern European Summit of Leaders in Budapest. Milinic said that the realization of this strategic project will greatly contribute to the economic development of BiH and its local communities, and will have a major impact on employment.
