Last week, the representatives of Montenegrin Ministry of Economy announced that there are five bidders on the public tender for the construction of small hydropower plants (SHPP) in Montenegro. Now, they have revealed the information that investors from China, Turkey and Slovakia are among those interested in the construction of SHPPs.
So far, final offers are submitted by Chinese company NORINCO International and Turkish Bereket Enerji, while the negotiations with other companies are at the level of initial interest. The Ministry of Economy is currently reviewing the submitted offers, after which the Government will select the best offers.
