Bulgarian electricity transmission system operator ESO gave the clients of electricity supplier Future Energy a deadline extension of one week to choose a new supplier, as Future Energy has been suspended from the market as of 2 December. The new deadline is set to 15 December.
On 1 December, Future Energy submitted a request to ESO to be suspended from the market, due to its inability to supply electricity to its clients, termination of contracts with key suppliers and accumulation of huge imbalances in its balancing group.
