According to the Serbian newspapers, the competition for the selection of General Director of state-owned power utility EPS will apparently be cancelled, due to the small number of applicants.
So far, 15 candidates applied for the vacant position of General Director of EPS, of which only a few have resumes that match the terms of the competition and EPS’ restructuring plans. The Acting General Director Milorad Grcic is not among the applicants, which also could be a signal that the competition will be cancelled. It is estimated that Grcic’s mandate will be extended, in order to complete the laying off of some 1,000 employees.
