The ceremony, which was attended by Macedonian Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev, General Director of Stroytransgaz Mikhail Khryapov and other officials, marked the completion of the construction of gas distribution section Klecovce-Stip, an investment worth 75 million dollars.
PM Dimitriev said that total length of this section is 61 kilometers and it will accelerate the spreading of gas distribution network in Macedonia. He stressed that the construction of the next section (Stip-Negotino-Kavadarci) will start in August, while the construction of two more sections (Kavadarci-Negotino-Prilep-Bitola and Skopje-Tetovo-Gostivar) will begin in September, adding that each of these sections will have a fork, which will allow the connection to gas networks of Greece, Bulgaria and Albania.
