Bosnian power utility ERS said that a tender for the procurement of consultancy services on the project for the construction of Hrgud wind farm, the first of its kind in the Republic of Srpska (RS), is still ongoing, in accordance with the request of German KfW Bank.
ERS said that one of the consultants will be in charge of developing an environmental impact assessment study. Besides ecological impact, the obligation of this study is to analyze the social impact, as well as all other impact assessments, as envisaged by EU directives, although some of these assessments are not mandatory by Bosnian law. Consultancy services will be financed with a 200,000 euros grant from KfW Bank.
