Croatian Association for consumer protection (ROZP) expressed its concerns about the Government’s decision to increase the fee for electricity produced from renewable energy sources (RES), particularly the way the decision was made since it did not seek the opinion of the National Council for consumer protection.
ROZP appealed to the Government and the Parliament to no longer make laws and decision of interest to consumers while ignoring the consumer protection law. The argue that this decision was made solely for the benefit of the traders, placing the burden of replenishing HEP’s funds for renewable energy on consumers.
