Croatian Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic said in an interview that an arbitration with MOL over managerial rights in Croatian oil company INA is running its course and Croatia will not withdraw from arbitration procedures and will start negotiations with the Hungarian oil and gas company soon.
Regarding the project for the construction of LNG terminal on Krk island, PM Oreskovic said that he had a few meeting related to the construction of floating terminal and he believes that it is crucial that this project starts as soon as possible. Regarding oil and gas explorations, he said that onshore exploration in Slavonia will start soon, but offshore exploration in the Adriatic Sea will have to wait. However, he did not answer any questions related to the fate of coal-fired TPP Plomin C project.
