Czech businessman Petr Kellner has bought the Romanian gas distributor Covi Construct for some 9 million euros.
Covi Construct distributes natural gas in the town of Voluntari, near Bucharest. The company’s turnover in 2016 was about 7 million euros. Covi Construct was owned by three Romanian investors, who received a gross price of 8.87 million euros for their shares in the company. The transaction was carried out by the company Ligatne Limited, owned by Kellner’s investment fund PPF Investments.
