Romanian do-it-yourself retailer Dedeman has bought 550,000 shares of the national oil pipeline operator Conpet Ploiesti for some 15.5 million euros, thus increasing its stake in the company to 7.4 %.
Last year, Dedeman acquired additional 4.8 % of the shares of electricity transmission system operator Transelectrica. The company currently holds 5.5 % stake in Transelectrica, with a market value of some 25 million euros. It also bought additional stake in electricity distributor and supplier Electrica, reaching a stake of 5.76 % in the company.
