The deadline for the submission of binding bids in a tender for the sale of 66 % stake in Greek natural gas transmission system operator DESFA has been postponed from 22 December to January 2018.
State privatization fund TAIPED accepted the request of two remaining candidate investors who asked for more time to better prepare their offers. In late September, two of the initial six bidders for the acquisition of 66 % stake in Greek natural gas transmission system operator DESFA have qualified for the second and final round of a tender. Those are a consortium comprising of Italian Snam, Belgian Fluxys, Spanish Enagas and Dutch Gasunie and a sole entry of Spanish Regasificadora del Noroeste.
