Domestic electricity production covered 67 % of consumption in September – Macedonia, 25 October 2016

Total electricity consumption in Macedonia in September 2016 amounted to 553,525 MWh, natural gas consumption amounted to 3.328 million cubic meters, coal consumption reached 424,537 tons, while the consumption of petroleum products stood at 121,903 tons.
According to the data from State Statistical Office, 67.04 % of the consumed electricity in September was covered by domestic production, while 96.76 % of the total coal consumption was used for electricity production.
