Total electricity consumption in Macedonia in June 2016 amounted to 537,426 MWh, natural gas consumption amounted to 3.754 million cubic meters, coal consumption reached 281,551 tons, while the consumption of petroleum products stood at 114,698 tons.
According to the data from State Statistical Office, 68.1 % of the consumed electricity in June was covered by domestic production, while 91.1 % of the total coal consumption was used for electricity production.
