Domestic electricity production covered 72.3 % of consumption in May – Macedonia, 29 July 2016

Total electricity consumption in Macedonia in May 2016 amounted to 548,059 MWh, natural gas consumption amounted to 3.251 million cubic meters, coal consumption reached 330,496 tons, while the consumption of petroleum products stood at 91,735 tons.
According to the data from State Statistical Office, 72.3 % of the consumed electricity in May was covered by domestic production, while 92.3 % of the total coal consumption was used for electricity production.
