Turkish Sabanci Holding and German energy company E.ON, which both have 50 % stake in Enerjisa, have made an agreement to restructure the company and its subsidiaries.
According to the statement from Sabanci Holding, the two shareholders have made a decision to group electricity distribution and retail companies that have different dynamics under a parent company. In addition, energy generation, energy wholesale and natural gas wholesale companies will be administered under another parent company. The statement further said that this new strategic restructuring in Enerjisa aims to create two stronger companies with high potential, adding that public offerings can be managed separately for these two parent companies in the future.
