The head of Turkish Electricity Distribution Services Association (ELDER) Serhat Cecen said that companies within the association have invested 766 million euros in 2016 and 1.05 billion euros in 2017 in electricity infrastructure in Turkey, which is over 30 years old.
According to Cecen, a total of over 3.5 billion euros will be invested in Turkey’s electricity sector to develop the distribution network between 2016 and 2020, and from this total 350 million euros will be allocated to technological investments.
