The largest Romanian electricity distributor and supplier Electrica recorded a net profit of 31.6 million euros in the first quarter of 2016, which is 12 % more compared to the same period in 2015 (28.2 million euros).
The company supplied 8 % more electricity in the first three months of this year, which led to 3 % increase in company’s supply revenues in this period. At the same time, the volume of distributed electricity rose by 3 %, but revenues from this activity dropped by 10 % due to decreased tariffs.
