Romanian electricity distributor Electrica reported a net profit in the amount of over 75 million euros in the first half of 2016, which is 21.23 % more than in the same period last year, when net profit amounted to 62 million euros.
The company’s revenues in the same period reached almost 600 million euros, 3.2 % more compared to the first six months of 2015. Electrica distributed 8.7 TWh of electricity to 3.66 million users in the first half of the year, which is a 2 % increase compared to the first half of 2015. It also supplied 5.5 TWh of electricity to more than 3.6 million users, 9 % more than in the same period last year.
