According to the short-term energy statistics indicators, after a two-month annual growth, in April Croatia recorded an annual decrease (8.8 %) in total net electricity generation.
This decline in April is a result of a 18.3 % decrease in net electricity generation of hydropower plants (which account for 54 % of total generation), while production in thermal power plants increased by 15.2 % at the same time (represents some 35 % of total generation). Electricity production of wind farms also increased by 13 %.
