According to the data from the Statistical Office of Republic of Slovenia, country’s electricity consumption in June 2017 increased by 4 % compared to the same month last year.
In June 2017, total net electricity generation in Slovenia reached 1,160 GWh, which is 9 % lower than in the previous month. At the same time, consumption reached 1,170 GWh, which is an increase of 1 % compared to May 2017. During June, production in thermal power plants decreased by 17 %, production in hydropower plants decreased by 8 % and the production of nuclear power plant Krsko decreased by 5 %. In June 2017, Slovenia imported 852 GWh of electricity and exported 809 GWh.
