Total electricity production in Macedonia in August 2016 amounted to 328.7 GWh, which is 18.92 % more than planned for this month (276.4 GWh) and 0.74 % more compared to the same month in 2015.
Electricity generation in hydropower plants was accounted for 26.19 % of the total sum and amounted to 86.1 GWh, which is 37.1 % more than planned for this month. Thermal power plants produced 70.73 % of the electricity (232.5 GWh), which is 12.37 % more than planned. The remaining 10.1 GWh or 3.08 % was produced by Bogdanci wind farm.
